I have been selected through a rigorous selection process onto The Tax Technician Occupational Diploma which is a Fasset Funded project and delivered by The South African Institute of Tax Professionals (SAIT) and The Tax Faculty.
The qualification integrates knowledge, practical skill and simulated workplace experience through real-life cases and ensures that I am capable of:
Registering all types of taxpayers;
Checking and classifying tax records and source documents;
Calculating tax liability;
Finalising income tax, payroll tax and VAT returns;
Analysing assessments;
Initiating, consulting and managing the ADR process; and
Managing administrative processes and fiduciary responsibility.
The final external integrated exam will be written in February 2022.
