To review the relevant documents prior to start of construction e.g. IFC, project specification etc.
Able to do inspection of structural steel fabrication, erection till final completion inspection.
To be more proactive to construction team for advising to correct the activities that could lead to non conformance.
Be vigilant for upcoming scheduled activities in advance to coordinate with 3rd parties in advance for the activities require testing.
To coordinate with surveyor to finalize the benchmark survey setting out prior to start of construction. Inspection with surveyor for the setting-out, coordinates, levels etc. of all structural elements.
Complies with the highest level of safety during all stages of work to avoid any type of incidents and or accidents. Take reasonable care of own health and safety and that of others in the workplace.
Complies with all statutory requirements connected with the implementation of project.
Fully responsible on Review of Structural Design Calculations and Drawings Submitted by Contractors and giving approval of safe design compliance
Attending site meetings with the contractor’s Project manager and structural design engineer for all structural design issues
Preparing Structural Shop Drawings for any RFI submitted by Contractors
