I am looking for permanent employment as caregiver for the elderly or infirm. I have experience in this regard, looking after my elderly mother-in-law and father-in-law (1991-1995), as well as the mother-in- law of my employer whilst working there as a domestic worker – 2017-2018. EXPERIENCE

DOMESTIC WORKER IN CRESTA, RANDBURG – FOR MM BESTER I worked as a full-time, live-in domestic worker for one employer during this time. Apart from the usual cleaning functions that I performed, for a family of 6, I also cared for the mother-in-law of the employer (age 80 then) during working hours from Apr 2017 to Mar 2018, whilst she was also living in their home. I used to prepare her meals and drinks, assist her with eating, washing, dressing, etc. during that one year. I have much patience with and empathy for senior citizens, caring for them diligently and with a soft approach. I also cared for my own elderly mother–in-law and father-in-law, living with me at that stage, from 1991 to 1995. I also helped looking after my employers children when they were small (2004-2007), preparing meals, feeding, changing them, etc. My employer appreciated the good care I provided to her family during these years. DOMESTIC WORKER IN GLENVISTA, JOHANNESBURG

I worked as a full-time, live-in domestic worker for one employer during this time. Apart from the usual house-cleaning functions that I performed, for a family of 5, I also looked after their three young children (ages 1y to 5y) during the days and into the evenings. I used to cook the family’s meals and work very long hours.

ACTIVITIES

I served on my Governing Body of my children’s school during 1992. I raised my own four children (two girls & two boys, born between 1984 and 1998). They are all adults now. My youngest son is currently studying towards a Diploma in Logistics at the University of Johannesburg.
