Loaves & Fishes Friendship Park Green Hat (Security) February 2016-present
As a Green Hat within Friendship Park I maintained guest, staff and volunteer safety. I would treat staff, volunteer, and guests with the utmost respect using all the customer services skills I have acquired to ensure safety for everyone. I was responsible for providing guests with resources on campus, and within the community. I was responsible for various maintenance duties such as hygienic restroom, prepping and disturbing breakfast for 100+ guests each morning, and more. I also organized, maintained, and ensured the flow of daytime storage for 100+ guests ‘belongings.
Seafood Processor- Red Salmon Cannery, Naknek, Alaska June-2015 to Aug-2015
During my season I worked throughout Red Salmon Cannery facilities, working in various departments such as Cannery: feeding cans into mechanical sealer while maintaining a safe work environment. Fish House: filleting, di-boning, gutting, cleaning, egg removal, racking, dish cleaning. Tail off: organizing and packing cans before cooking process, and assisting Forklift Driver. Within the season a tremendous amount of work is compressed into a short period of time due to high demand all while I worked 16 hours a day, 7 days a week with no days off.
