Calibrate all instruments in accordance with their data sheets and vendor specification.

Loop check according to the ILD.

Lease with the site planner and ensure timely progression of the works. Advise any potential problems or delays to the Project Manager.

Ensure that proper quarantine procedure is carried out where applicable for

damaged equipment/material.

Troubleshooting and repair plant instrument problems “Pneumatics

and Electronics”

Calibration troubleshooting work on PLC, DCS and Smart Instruments.

Read and understand loop drawings and P & ID’s.

Able to tune field controllers, adjustment P & ID setting and tune the loop.

Experience in troubleshooting combustion control loops, steam boilers/furnaces.

Carryout testing safety critical devices/systems according to the safety critical

procedures.

Ensure that all loop checking is carried out timely and to the proper procedures.

Ensure that the client signs off all loops.

Maintain all test records for both calibrations and loop checks to QC.

Ensure all corrections are redlined on specification sheets and drawings.

Any other adhoc duties as assigned from time to time.
