-Installation of various types of piping systems and supports in proper locations in a safe and productive manner

-Following safety rules and procedures

-Blueprint reading

-Welding, stick, mig, or tig (carbon, stainless)

-Instrumentation (tubing, tygon)

-Tools of the trade– cutting torch, level, degree finder, square,plumb Bob and measuring tape Education

-High school diploma – 12 years

-5 year apprenticeship program

-32 years in the pipefitting trade

-OSHA 20
