I am seeking a Security Guard position within a security company utilizing my experience and my skills set, so that I may protect and create a safe work environment, I believe this will be mutually beneficial for the company and myself.

Qualification

Fluently bilingual (English and Spanish). Great communication skills. Ability to effectively resolve issues and demonstrate sound judgment. Ten years of experience and I am a fully Commissioned Security Officer. Clean background. Work ethic second to none. Able to diffuse situations or conflicts, even in times of pressure. Good with people. I posses the Permit to carry a gun by the state of Texas. Reliable, Honest, and Trustworthy.

2013 US Security Associates Irving.Tx

Working as an armed guard for Private retail (Fiesta Grocery Stores), I assisted loss prevention in deterring theft and detaining shoplifters. I also provided a presence of armed security for the benefit of employees and customers alike.

2011-2013 Paramount Staffing Irving,tx

For Paramount Staffing I worked mostly in industrial security, access control, Patrolling and partial-dispatching.

2010-2011 APS Security Arlington,Tx

Working as an armed guard for APS, my duties included safeguarding the wellbeing of the St. John Baptist Church (Ft. Worth) and Calvary Church (Ft.Worth) staff as well as its congregation. I also oversaw the counting and transportation of the money from the church to armored services.

2009- 2010 Allied Barton Dallas,TX

As a Security Officer at Allied Barton Security, my main duties included, overseeing Access Control to the facility. Patrolling the building often on foot to maintain order and peace. I also patrolled the parking lots in order to deter vandalism. I monitored surveillance cameras; I was on call to protect the employees. I was in charge of protecting the general safety of the facility’s employees.

2008 – 2009 U.S. Security Associates, Inc. Irving, TX

Working as a Loss Prevention officer for U.S. Securities Associates my major duties included, but were not limited to the following tasks; Actively safeguarding company assets, Enforcing Access Control of the distribution center, Logging in trucks and trailers upon arrival and inspecting trailers before departure, Recording daily activity of the facility, Securing the perimeter of the building, some customer service when working the lobby, and providing security the employees. I really enjoyed my position and was good at it, however, I needed a better pay rate.

2006 - 2008 ABM Security Services Dallas, TX

While employed for ABM security Services, my day started at 6:45am and ended usually at about 4 to 4:30pm. A full day consisted mostly Access Control and enforcing security guidelines. My job included the following tasks: Patrolling both the inside and outside of the facility on foot. Making sure employees were safe. I was used for conflict resolution, such as escorting people off the premises when necessary. On occasion it was my duty to diffuse potential conflicts between employees. Constant monitoring of the company parking lot. Resolving issues with Spanish speakers was entirely my responsibility, as I am fluent in Spanish.

2004 – 2006 Weiser Security Services Dallas, TX

My daily duties included but were not limited to screening employees and administering pat downs, as well of operating Metal Detecting equipment. Duties also included walking the perimeter of the building and reporting suspicious behavior. I also helped guests by providing information about the building. I monitored surveillance in the employee entrances. I patrolled the building. I was called to resolve problems when needed. I was selected for special tasks by my supervisor due to my excellent work ethic. I was in charge of access control to delivery vehicles, I directed traffic when needed. I worked Loss Prevention in the shipping/receiving docks daily.

As a Security Officer at Allied Security I managed the Access Control to our facility. I patrolled the building on foot to keep the peace. I patrolled the parking lot as well to deter vandalism. I monitored surveillance cameras; I was on call to protect the employees. I was in charge of overseeing the general safety of the employees.

Working for 21st Sentry Security my main job functions were overseeing the access of the building to safeguard employees. I was also responsible for patrolling the premises and ensuring the safety of employees. I was on call to escort anyone to their car. I was on call to provide resolution for employee conflict. I monitored surveillance cameras. I made reported suspicious activity and monitored the parking lot on company vehicle.

Other experience includes Volunteering for security work at various Church and School based organizations such as the League of United Latin American Citizens (L.U.L.A.C.) and St. Mathew Catholic Dieses, to name a few.
