I hereby wish to apply for the above mentioned position as advertised. I currently hold a National Diploma in Civil Engineering and have just completed my B-TECH degree in Urban design and development with UNISA.
For the past 11 years I have worked as an Engineer representative, a Site agent for roads and storm water, water reticulation, building and housing. For the 6 years I have been self employed, working as a sub-contraction in the housing sector (RDP). During this time I have been challenged most and learned a lot in the process. Cost and time management, quality control, site coordination, site supervision and ensuring a safe working environment is most essential when it comes to running a project and attention to detail is the key. Self employment has enhanced my project management skill, managerial skill, conflict resolving skill, report writing and most importantly my leadership skill.
Should I be the successful, I know I will make an impact as I bring with a wealth of experience accumulated over the years.I work well both as an individual and as an active team member, who is always willing to learn and share knowledge with the team. I am very dedicated, self driven and very ambitious.
