Project: 1.96 million ton Coke Oven Plant heating & Commissioning under ‘18 MTPA Project. Duration: July 2014 to Jan 2020.

Description: A Recovery type Coke Oven plant heating & commissioning project having a production capacity of 1.9 million ton coke per annum. The Design is mainly based on Chinese technology provided by CFMCC (China’s First Metallurgical Construction Company). Process Control as Process Engineer.

1. Achieving the target temperature by proper heating & regulation. Heating & regulation involves draft adjustment in flue gas outlet and gas flow adjustment to the heating wall.

● .Process monitoring & controlling through DCS (Distributed Control System). Working in PCS7

(Siemens).

● Maintaining the target temperature.

● Pressure & leakage testing of pipe lines & valves.

● Rectified exhauster trip, power trip and non availability of gas problems.

● Draft Regulation to maintain Proper gas-air ratios in all the vertical flues of all heating walls.

● Maintaining the gas flow depending on the calorific value of gas & required heat for the target coking period.

● Successfully handle the gas change over for heating several times whenever required.

● Efficiently handled modification in process to open the bleeder while there is any power trip or blower trip.

2. Working as OPERATING ENGINEER in VALEO FRICTIONS OF MATERIALS IND LTD, CHENNAI From MAY 2013 to JUNE 2014. Producing clutch plate different sizes as per requirement of customers. Planning Production according to day business target and Co-ordinate with other department for completing daily business target

● This is located at Chennai .VFMI was launched in 1997 as a joint venture between the Valeo group,France & Anand, India to manufacture a new range of environmentally friendly clutch facings.

● Our finishing clutch plate are rechecked every time due to customer to be satisfied with product .

● Communicate with maintenance department every machine’s to be checked every week with out failure.
