PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENTS

Group Training & Development: Challenged to train up to 25 new soldiers per month to properly operate Army water equipment to purify water to ensure mission readiness. Improved the program with curriculum and individual sessions and coached over 40 groups during field training exercises. More than 80% of Soldiers in my platoon became very proficient in water purification operations and provided purified water to troops of 800 Soldiers during field training exercises.

Individualized Training & Improved Classroom Metrics: Faced with limited resources as a tutor, I researched teaching methods and materials to accommodate different students learning at different levels. Divided the students into small groups and conducted multiple group and one-on-one tutoring sessions to address challenges with learning the French language. Following the implementation of the program, the school was able to accommodate more tutoring students leading to more successful classroom metrics.

Cultural Diversity Training & Team Collaboration: Facing cultural differences, communities required interpreters to ensure missionaries and local community members understood each other’s perspectives despite lack of access to means of communication. Conducted onsite trainings for both the American missionaries and members of the local communities explaining the importance of cultural awareness. With a common understanding of each other’s cultures, the organization was able to identify the most pressing needs of communities. INDUSTRY SKILLS
