Position : PIPING Tr. Engineer

Duties & responsibilities:

Piping works such as Mechanical & Piping Fabrication, Erection and Installation in Refinery, Petrochemical and Oil & Gas Project & Process Plant.

Pre-commissioning / commissioning activities like Air blowing, Steam blowing, water Flushing, Chemical cleaning, Leak test, Hydrostatic test, Pneumatic test activities.

Install pipe make sure the pipe crews got everything they need make sure that the crews are operating in a safe productive manner with quality results.

Involved in all Fabrication of Piping works at workshop and project site.

Responsible for submitting daily progress reports (DPR).

Verifying dimensions, measurements, cutting, and pipe preparation for welding.

Supervision of workshop activities for pre-fabrication of associated piping work.

Also involved in Under Ground and Above Ground Pipe Erection

Receiving the approved drawing for fabrication.

Preparing the fabrication schedule according to priority.

Preparing the spool pack for traceability.

To coordinate for the fabrication of different piping system, installation and hydro testing (CS, LTCS, SS, Alloy Steel)

Erection of Pipe Supports according to approved drawings.

Preparing the material request according to the requirement of spool.

Issue the work permits ensuring HSE requirements.

Co-Ordination with Client and Manager to Solve Field changes, re-routing due to obstruction of existing pipelines, & Tie- In activities.

Punch list preparation prior to mechanical completion.

Reporting to the construction manager regarding whole day production monitoring the front availability.

Maintain daily activity report on HSE progress material status, quality issues and resources afforded to the work.

Inspection and approval of all the QA/QC submittal of the subcontractors.

Familiar in Piping inspection DPT, MPT, RT & UT and BOLT TORQUEING
