1) Working as a Mechanical engineer at Sino Hydro Corporation limited for the construction of a 600MW Power plant at ZPC Hwange expansion project from November 2019 up to date. Job responsibilities;

• Creating and monitoring planned construction schedules for the steel structure at Boiler 7 and 8

• Monitoring and maintaining daily set targets for the thermal machinery department at 3 sections i.e., Boiler 7/8 and flue ducts fabrication site.

• Working out permits for every job being carried out on project construction site.

• Technical guidance in the process of equipment installation. i.e., reading of AutoCAD drawings.

• Designed the first two Electric vehicle charging stations set-up in Zimbabwe for the Econet Msasa head office.

• I was part of the team that did the Oxfam piped water scheme projects under Samansco in Masvingo (Summerton, Mabondo) and in Matabeleland (Bubi).

• Successfully designed a pick and place robotic arm as part of my final year design and make project.

• Also did a research and design of an automated pothole patching system for my final year project

• Accurately predicted and detected faults in some equipment in power management which improved energy efficiency at Lynx Mine

• Successfully established planned maintenance programs which improved efficiency of machinery

• Involved in the installation of a new thyromat based hoist system for the mine

• Solely entrusted with the responsibility of carrying out a successful power management project at the mine

• Project reduced overall consumption of energy at the mine by 60% by the end of the internship

• Also successfully designed an automatic process control system that automatically start and stop the agitation motors when the pH is of the lime mixture is below or above the required range which was to be used at water treatment tanks. The purpose of the design was to design a system that will supply clean water at lynx mine resident.

• Successfully did a project on toxic gas monitoring for undergrounds mine as part of my internship train.
