CURRENT SKILL LEVEL:

Presently, I am working as Senior consultant gynaecologist and IVF specialist at The Hope Hospital, Patiala.

I am trained in infertility workup and management at Indira fertility academy, Udaipur. I can independently run an IVF center with excellent results.

Working as IVF specialist at various centers, I have independently performed patient counselling, hysteroscopy, ovarian stimulation, follicle monitoring, ovum pickup, embryo transfer, IUI, PRP’s and other procedures related to infertility management.

I have good experience of obstetrics and gynaecological ultrasound examination both trans-abdominal and TVS especially follicular monitoring, detecting pelvic abnormalities, Antenatal scans with color Doppler studies, etc.

I have a good experience of working in corporate and government setup, independently performed Laparotomies, Caesarean sections (complicated and uncomplicated), vaginal deliveries, operative vaginal deliveries. I can confidently manage complicated antenatal patients with diabetes mellitus, hypertension in pregnancy, Eclampsia, Heart disease in pregnancy and patients with bad obstetric history. I routinely dealt with intranatal emergencies such as cord around neck, cord prolapse, foetal distress, and non-progression of labour; second stage caesarean section, previous multiple caesarean sections, post-partum hemorrhage, grade IV placenta previa, placental abruption.

While working for the past three years in a prestigious government set-up with a huge turnover I have assisted highly competent and experienced professors in the advanced procedures like major Gynecological surgeries, total Abdominal Hysterectomy, Myomectomy, Vaginal Hysterectomy, cancer debulking surgeries, laparoscopic procedures etc.

I can manage and monitor with ease high-risk pregnancies throughout the antenatal period, delivery, and post-partum. I routinely run the high-risk pregnancy clinic and independently perform Obstetrical ultrasound for fetal wellbeing, anomaly scan, Biophysical profile. I am also trained to perform MTP, D&C, Cervical biopsy, and other minor operative procedures. I can also manage adolescent gynecological problems, infertility, and menopausal problems.

I have also trained my junior MS and MBBS students to carry independent minor surgeries following a careful standardized approach in addition to academic seminars, journal clubs and bedside teaching. I have routinely attended departmental seminars and CMEs.
