Quality Assurance Lead / Asst. to Site Quality Manager Strata Solar / Chapel Hill, NC / August 2018 – Present; June 2016 – December 2017 Hard Hat / Greensboro, NC / December 2017 – August 2018 Overseeing solar farm site Quality and ensuring that utility-scale builds comply with product manufactures’ installation instructions, building and electrical codes, Quality standards, and department SOP. Execute required tests on utility PV Systems, inspect all aspects of the build, investigate and document deficiencies, and track deficiencies through remediation. As part of my ongoing development, I am acting as Site Quality Manager during managerial absences. This includes documenting and reporting all deficiencies in a daily report, transmitting daily inspection reports, monitoring production and run rates, and scheduling the workday. Daily inspections include posts (piles), racking, modules, source wire, cable trays or CAB systems, all the way to the pads with the AC Combiners and Transformers. Lead daily meetings including tooling, work processes, workload, personnel management, safety topics, field toolbox talks for safety and inspection, completed task specific JHA and JSA assessments, and red rope / hot work training.
