As Plant Project Engineer my duties include the quoting and implementation of NEW Molding projects to include all aspects of manufacturing the product. From Raw materials, Tooling, EOAT, cooling conveyors and ultrasonic welding assemblies, labor requirements to packaging the product is built into the quotes for projects. Responsible for internal Tool Shop Management, audits and certifications, DFM, Tool Building, PPAP approvals, Gauges and Fixture procurement for new products. Manufacturing process validation and certification for production runs. Audit and control current production processes implement continuous improvements on new and existing projects. Control Budgetary plans on New Projects and Projected New Year. Evaluation, Auditing and Selection of new vendors for specific applications. Aid sales team in closing new business with a technical approach to satisfy customer needs.

ELECTROLUX Aug 2014-2018

Senior Program Tooling / Molding Engineer

Program Manager for a 52-mold project “WARREN” that was brought from CHINA. Approved DFM to new tool designs review and approve, PPAP Fit and Function to production ready tools. Kept the project under budget and record lead time delivery of 16 weeks to market. Designed and developed manufacturing cells, acquired (CAPEX) automation equi[pment equipment and optimized processes to maximize efficiency.

Duties included but not limited to keeping tooling in top operational performance order from outside vendors. This included keeping track of preventative maintenance, engineering changes and emergency repairs, and diagnosing problematic tools to ensure production was not compromised.
