1. Serves as a liaison between the head nurse and

• Triaging the patients- coming to Emergency

• Make the patients comfortable on the bed and check the general condition, record vital signs in the assessment chart.

• Assisting for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

• Performing ABG, VBG and CBG & Blood Transfusion, Intravenous Canalizations, Ryles Tube Insertion, Urinary Catheterization,

• CPR, Intramuscular & Intravenous injections, Venipuncture.

• Dressing of Minor & Major wounds.

• Assisting Invasive Procedures Arterial line, Central line Insertion & Intubation of patients.

• Insertion & removal of oro-nasopharengeal airway

• Planning and implementation of patient care (Includes hygiene, Nutrition, comfort measures, elimination needs, Administration of medicine)
