Rig operation safety; responsible for all safety, environment and health issues in drilling or work over and general rig operations

Hazard Identification risk assessment (HIRA): Evaluates hazards within the work environment by applying hazard identification and risk assessment techniques to analyze and prioritize risk, control measures that reduce risk as low as reasonably practicable.

Supervise all rig operation like pull out of hole (POOH) and run in hole (RIH), casing, cementing, logging and measurement while drilling, coil tubing, wireline, mixing of chemical at the mud tanks and lifting jobs
Prepare daily, weekly and monthly HSE reports according to company’s HSE schedule and rig management system.
Introduce and train the crew on proper hand placement, hand and finger injury, drop object management, step back 5x5 program, pinch points identification, PPE, communicate safety programs to improve workers safety culture on board
Supervise all heavy and critical lift at the rig like HWDC, HWDP, coordinating between rig floors and making sure risk assessment and heavy lift plan with job safety analysis is in place before lifting
Conduct emergency drills for H2S, first aid/medical evacuation, Bop, fire, confined space and other drill as per the companies HSE monthly schedule
Coordinate with the rig manager or OIM, to prepare rig move JSA and monitor all activities using safe system of work provided such as work permit, review contractor permit to work before commencement of assigned task
Conduct daily, weekly and monthly HSE inspection for lifting equipment LEMS, fire extinguishers, safe content breathing apparatus (SCBA), chemical mixing PPE and rig general inspection
Help and monitor functional lock out-tag out system during mud pump service, agitator motors, draw works, top drive and other high risk job involving electrical unit at the rig
Monitor and supervise all rig move and rig up operation to ensure that workers comply with the required safety standard based on company’s HSE requirement for rig move and rig up
