As the Facility Manager, I draw up maintenance schedules and set routine programmes of work for cleaning staff, premises and grounds maintenance staff to ensure consistently high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, upkeep and safety of all school buildings and premises.

I conduct regular inspections of college facilities for ensuring that the facilities are suitable for safe operations and are maintained in an attractive and clean condition to ensure proper maintenance of school facilities.

I also ensure that all statutory elements of health and safety are implied and undertaking responsibility for monitoring first aid and emergency supplies and equipment and maintaining the premises in a safe and healthy condition and to a high standard.

I am also accountable for direct supervision of outsourced services such as cleaning, and custodial service and coordinate contractors and vendors supplying construction, maintenance, grounds, and cleaning services.
