Objective

To obtain a challenging and rewarding position in the food and nutrition industry that will allow me to exercise and build my knowledge of proficiently supervising, overseeing, and assisting in all areas relevant to the position. I strive to help make sure each area of the food service department within the facility is reaching its highest potential in all areas of service, cleanliness, proficiency and health standards, while serving each and every resident a nutritious and palatable meal. I am passionate about making sure every member receives the same quality of service while having their individual dietary needs met, and also making this happen in the most cost efficient way possible. I strive for all team members to work together as a symbiotic unit and meet all of its goals, and excel in every way possible, while performing as an invaluable team leader.

Have worked at various customer service and food service industry jobs from 2005-2021 (including currently working various part time events at Bridgestone Arena) with varying responsibility, difficulty, and job titles. This includes food preparation jobs and serving and bartending jobs in high volume restaurants and familiarizing myself with proper food handling and food safety procedures. I have been a trainer and/or shift leader in many of the positions, as well as a food and nutrition supervisor and manager positions, overseeing the responsibilities of the food and beverage teams.

Skills

Knowledge of nutritional aspects of food service, as well as proper food safety and handling techniques. Good at working with others and great leadership skills. Good understanding of Spanish (one of my college minors). Extremely skilled at problem solving and organizing. Spent 1 week completing the National Food Service Management Institute training course during one of my internships. Very adept at multitasking and willing to learn anything.
