Working on the A14 as a general Foreman. I supervised the drainage and muck shift work of the highway. This involved overseeing a gang of operatives and organising necessary plant.

Amey - January 2015 – May 2015

Sorting out paperwork, meeting sub-contractors on the jobs, making sure all work was done efficiently by Ameys plans and drawings, in charge of 6/7 jobs per week, ensuring health

& safety was up to standards and snagging. This job was within a 100 mile radius a day and smart motorway road works around Birmingham

Grupotec Renewables - 2014 - 2015

I was a sight manager since 2014 with Grupotec, I managed 3 sites

12 mw at Eakring, 22 mw at Thorsby and 50 mw at Sandy, my job

Entailed making sure the sub-contractors were working to the specs

On some of the sites there were up to 400 contractors, Spanish, Italian and Polish, also making sure health and safety was in place and all necessary paperwork.

Lindum – 2011- 2013

I was a site manager making sure all health and safety regulations were being adhered to on site by all of our workers and subcontractors. I was responsible for ordering materials for a 4x house build in derby. When I finished I moved to EuroCarparts factory in Coventry. This was an extension build for £1.2million, full build, full fitout until completion.

150 million pound project, making sure all tasks that were issued to all ganger members and helping with materials and plant, to make sure everything ran correctly

Nuttalls - 2004-2009

I was made up to section Forman doing a concrete rail bus route through Long Stanton and ended up doing bits of everything as I got the work done efficiently and effectively.

McAlpines - 2000-2004

Foreman working on road works, this was a 200 Hundred-million-pound project, building a new road, I was involved in muck shift, drainage, right up to black top.

From leaving school I spent time on farms operating machinery. I also worked in quarries for 6 years loading shovels and working dumper trucks and in the demolition Company, Brown and Mason, where I was employed for 4 years at Battersea Power Station as a plant operator. Then was promoted to top burner. The job ended and I was head-hunted to work at Technical Demolition Services as foreman, where I worked for 6 years. The job involved looking after what some of the largest demolition equipment in England. I was privileged to work with Paul Faulkner, the top explosives expert and demolished the biggest steel structures in England Europe. I don’t want to bore you to death, I am a straight forward guy, been in the game for 28 years, I am honest, loyal, work to my best ability. You get what you see with me, I have worked from the bottom upwards to where I am now.
