Duties and Responsibilities held within the above position :
Issue and receive all cashiers and bartender floats timorously and accurately
Prevent unnecessary handling of cash, all cash in treasury should always be locked in the safe and the time lock activated.
Prevent unauthorized personnel from handling cash.
Run all monies (notes & coins) through the note counter / coin counter before disbursing to anyone.
Ensuring the safe has the correct amount of change to run the gaming day.
Ensuring all excess cash is banked daily – Ensure the Company Policy on Safe Floats are adhered to.
Ensuring all paper work generated is filed in date order in the correct file and ensure all paper work is filed before the end of the shift.
Ensuring all files are maintained to the highest standards and are neat.
Ensuring on the first (01st ) of every month all files are emptied and paper work is neatly and accurately stored away in provided storage bins which are to be labelled at all four sides with the following information: Site Name, Month, Year and Contents.
The recording of the branch’s cash movements and incomes, and reconcile all cash and paper work to the CMS System.
Sending all daily required data to Administrators in Head Office before the close of each gaming day.
Handling cash with accuracy and care.
Issuing the Pay-out cashier with cards and ensure the correct prefix and number sequence is correct before the sale of Bingo tickets/cards.
The daily verification of the reconciliation by the cash desk, in accordance with the reconciliation procedures approved by the Board

Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain general daily operations of the business
Accomplish business objectives by managing staff and evaluating various departments within the company
Ensure the branch operates in accordance to all legislations, rules and regulations
Securing the premises for the commencement of clearance according to Internal Control
Ensure the compliance with FICA ( Financial Intelligence Centre Act )
