CAREER OBJECTIVE

•I aim to initiate and trade a mark of true accountability and transparency of financial reports in my field as an accountant.

Am Ms Maureen Odhiambo, completed a Bachelor of Commerce Degree Course (Accounting option) from Kibabii University (Main Campus) attaining a Second Class Honour’s Upper Division. Currently in pursuance of master’s degree in Business Administration. [Accounting option] I possess accounting exposure knowledge in the field of financial management and management accounting. Possesses ICT knowledge in micro-computers, C++ programming, MS Word, Advanced Excel and Possess Administration knowledge in different sectors.

I currently work as a tutor at Nehema institute of science and technology

Have worked as, Busia county coordinator SDGs advocate, ward secretary in co-ordination of ward activities in liaison with the County Assembly rules and regulations-Busia County, then as an intern at Busia law courts- Judiciary, the accounts department and later on as an attaché at Busia county government, Ministry of Agriculture and Animal Resource-accounts department.

3.Provide oversight and foster the implementation of 30% procurement law in the county and budgetary increment on youth programs and initiatives

4.Champion for youth inclusion in the counties leadership strata and prioritization on job opportunities

5.Develop concept notes and creative ideas on projects aimed at benefitting the youths in the county

6.Launch YGK’s Leadership and Governance Club (LG-CLUB) in universities and colleges within your county of jurisdiction
