Produc vity Enhancement by Efficient Design of Re-Layout of a Tex le Industry. The objec ve of this project work is to study the exis ng plant layout of Sudarshan tex le industry, Solapur and to enhance the produc vity by redesign of plant layout by NX so ware.

Design Modifica on in exis ng plant layout is done using SLP (System layout planning) to increase produc vity.

Material handling distance is saved by 33.88% in modified plant layout A and B.

Plant layout A is modified by sugges ng recycling plant for future requirement .

Produc vity is enhanced by 42.22% by morderniza on of tex le unit as per plant layout B.

Total workforce required is cut down by 17 workers. i. e. 36.95%. Considering the capital investment required for morderniza on of unit (Plant layout B), payback period is found to be 1.58 years. Successfully completed training of 15 Days inplant Training in “NUMA CAST IRON PVT. LTD”
