My responsibilities included receiving incoming calls, opening new client files, setting appointments, review of client billing, calling in company payroll and ordering supplies. I also requested and answered discovery, filed legal documents with the court, filed new and amended complaints, scheduled depositions with opposing counsel’s office, set hearings with the courts and cleared dates with the opposing counsel’s office. In addition to the abovementioned, I would send updated lists to our clients and advise them of their upcoming depositions.

1997-2000 Embarkation Representative, Carnival Cruise Lines

Embarkation Representative is an on-site Customer Service Rep on behalf of Carnival. My job duties included greeting all Carnival guests that were either sailing out or debarking any one of the cruise ships. I would also “Meet and Greet” guests who were deserted in Miami due to unforeseen circumstances and guide them through the process of either relocating them to a hotel while awaiting departure or redirecting them to a destination to catch their ship. My responsibilities also included coordination with the airlines to get our guests out to their required destinations.

1995-1997 Office Manager, CCC Mortgage Company

I would set and confirm the company’s appointments schedule, along with reviewing and processing of payroll. In addition to these duties I was also responsible for all invoicing and payables for the firm. I qualified paperwork for processing policies with the insurance companies, ordered company supplies, made bank deposits, and kept in constant contact with our insurance agencies and maintained a customer service relationship with the agents.

1993-1995 Shipping Supervisor, Carinter, Inc.

I was responsible for ensuring that all the merchandise such as perishables left on time to meet their flights and directed coordination of merchandise to be picked-up at inspection sites.
