1) Static Equipment

Heat Exchangers: Maintenance of static equipment like different types of exchangers. Cleaning of shell and tube by chemical and hydro jetting. Knowledge about different types of test like 1.Shell Test 2.Tube Test.

Column: Isolation, opening, cleaning, inspection, removal, replacement of trays, tray segments and accessories of the following trays.Valve trays, bubble cap trays, sleeve trays, chimney trays, down comers, distributors.

Vessels: Knockout drum, deareators, absorbers, proper positive isolation, I.G.purging, Air purging, opening manway. DP Test of internal welded surface area. Demister pad replacement & cleaning, internal cleaning of vessel & boxing-up

Valve Maintenance: Gland Replacement, stem replacement, valve sheet lining by diamond cut paste.

2)Reviews and Witness for UT, MPI, PT, PMI &HARDNESS TESTING.

3)Prepare test package according to test block provided by Client.

4)Review of all piping test packages.

5)Assigning Test Pack numbering

6)Confirm test medium is correct according to the line list and flushing method is correct

7)Confirm design pressure and test pressure is correct according to line list and within the allowable pressure for the pipe specification.

8)Confirm filling points, venting points, and drains are acceptable.

9)Confirm test boundaries are reasonable - evaluate exclusion zones.

10)Confirm valves, instruments, etc. that need to be removed are identified.

11)Confirm pressure gauge and relief valve locations.

12)Confirm boundary limits of blowing packages are achievable.

13)Submit the test package for Client review and approval.

14)Follow up with Client on test package approval.

15)Review the test package status once the punch, punch kill activities and release for HT if punch is cleared for HT.

16)Update the test package status.

17)Reviews of PWHT Charts &Reports, Interpretation of radiographs

18)Verifying summary and documentation control and ensure all the inspection to be according to ITP. To assist NDT personals and NDT requirements.

19)Pre-welding and weld joint fit-up inspection, In- process welding inspection.

20)Percentage coverage of NDE as per applicable standard (by line wise, Drawing wise and welder wise).

21)Verification, Daily visual inspection of storage and handling. Welding equipment calibration verification

22)Materials receiving inspection of piping materials, structural materials and welding Electrode and filler materials.

23)Perform line checking/prepare and check official test pack prior to release for hydro testing by ensuring that all welding inspection and NDT activities affecting the quality of welds contained in each piping spools of an isometric have been completed and accepted.

24)Preparation of punch list for the balance activities which are not affecting hydro test completion and clear of Punch list and post punch list items after completion of activities and Plant commissioning activities.

25)Conversant with ANSI, ASTM, ASME, API, AWS Codes and Standards

26)Witness of Mechanical test for PQR & Welders performance Qualification test as per Approved WPS.

27)Review/Monitoring the Approved Quality and Inspection plan.

28)Review/Monitoring with Approved Drawings, Governing Standards and Specifications.

29)Review fabrication/Erection, documents and work quality in terms of specification, workmanship and other variables as indicated in the above-mentioned documents as per requirements of QC standard operating procedure and client’s specification.

30)Perform surveillance fit-up and visual inspection of all piping and welding works from piping pre- fabrication to field installation.

31)Verify/Review weld parameters of SAW, SMAW, and MIG & TIG process to be with in range as specified in approved WPS during the shift on daily basis and maintain the records for CS/LTCS/&NACE/SS/&DUPLEX/LOWALLOY/SS CLAD/Cu-Ni materials.

32)Quality surveillance, Welding Inspection, Documentation & Dimensional Check & Interpretation of radiographs as per cods & standards.
