Responsible for comprehensive and leadership of Environment of Care department with 8 locations, 29 direct reports, including the management of one AA, thirteen EOC staff, and fifteen security guards. As the Environmental & Safety Director develop, direct, coordinate, implement, and monitor the Environmental and Safety Management program and perform all the job functions in accordance with policies and procedures in compliance with regulatory agencies.

Key Contributions:

Saved $180K in annual cost by thoroughly overseeing outsourced work( replaced Stericycle medical waste and OSHA semiannual training with a local vendor and lowering the cost by $7K a month, replaced the elevator vendor with a more efficient, replaced medical equipment vendor with a local vendor and slashing the cost in half, trained EOC staff in monitoring basic functions of medical devices before calling the vendor for repairs, in house preventive maintenance of HVAC/R such as filters quarterly and belts semiannually).
