• Early Cold War Atomic Diplomatic History: This paper analyzes the political implications and the military application of the Atomic Bomb’s use against the Japanese at Hiroshima and Nagasaki. This paper shows and inside look on the causality estimates as well of Truman’s cabinet and the posturing that led to the Cold War. It attempts to show the possible political motivations of Truman to keep the Soviet Union out Asia to allow the United States be the principle reconstruction power.

• Insurgency & Terrorism of the Iranian Revolution: This paper discusses the methods of Ayatollah Khomeini’s rise as the Supreme Leader of Iran and establishing it as an Islamic Republic. It discusses the use of terrorism through the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps through semi- Fascist means similar to Hitler in Germany and Mussolini in Italy. This paper also discusses the French Reign of Terror like measures that Khomeini used to eliminate many of the Shah’s chief supports throughout his reign.

• A Review of British Counterinsurgency: Due to the numerous insurrections in Kenya, Malaysia, Dhofar and various others the British developed a policy of minimal force and a “Hearts and Minds” strategy. This article is attempt to assess the successfulness of the strategy of the British through the evaluating their insurgencies in Northern Ireland and Kenya. This paper points to while British did attempt to win over the indigenous population they were also extremely brutal in their tactics towards them as well.

• Counterinsurgency & Insurgency Strategy: This essay was an evaluation on the needs of both and insurgency and counterinsurgency to succeed. It looked at the central role of using the media and the local population for both sides by using Field Marshal Templer’s strategy to win them over. It also discusses the need to unify civil and military efforts for the counterinsurgents as well as the need to establish a fluid intelligence network to succeed as well by assessing and researching historical examples.
