I am strong willed, hardworking individual with strong interests in the engineering industry. I am multi-skilled engineer having worked on both Electrical and Mechanical fields. 2021 January – Present: Graduate Plant/Production Engineer at Milly Glass Woks Limited Am currently working as a trainee with Milly Glass Works Limited a leading glass manufacturer located in Mvita, Mombasa. Am tasked with;

Carrying out preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance of plant equipment and machinery-Glass forming machine.

Maintenance of plant utilities such air compressors (Chicago pneumatic, Ingersoll rand), water treatment plant (reverse osmosis) as well as Pumps (Centrifugal pumps). Responding to breakdowns and undertaking scheduled maintenance activities. Assisting in stock requisition and mobilization of necessary resources to undertake maintenance activities.

2020 August- December 2020: Graduate Salesforce Consultant at Uwazi Consulting. Worked on contract terms as a salesforce consultant; Training on the ways of developing Salesforce platforms for a wide range of customers. Gaining experience with working with the full suite of Salesforce products. Knowledge of the key functionalities and components of the Salesforce ecosystem. 2

Configuration on salesforce.com sales service as well as analyzing the needs and requirements of customers and understanding the business needs. Working with multiple teams to bridge the gap between business problems and technical solution.

2019 September- March 2020: Industrial Operations internship at Schneider Electric EA. Reporting to manufacturing supervisor:

I worked with the manufacturing and assembly department as an electrical engineer where I was tasked with;

LV and MV electrical switchgear assembly, I gained hands-on experience. Wall mounted light voltage switches assembly.

Building solar powered panels, backup solutions.

Making of protection panels for substations.

Assembly of motor control center’s; DOL, Star-Delta, Forward Reverse, Variable speed drives Doing control wiring and power cabling; Automatic-Changeovers Assembling of power correction factor panels.

Wiring of control panels for industrial processes/Programmable Logic control. Interaction with various Schneider electric products and getting to understand them. General housekeeping especially in the work area.

2019 May-August: Maintenance Engineer Trainee at Base Titanium Limited. Reporting to HME Supervisor

Minimization of machinery downtime by carrying out routine PM tasks Periodic maintenance of heavy mobile equipment’s, light vehicles, generator’s and lighting plants.

Carrying out fault diagnosis in ECMs.

Components and spares management; booking out and inventory management. Light vehicle inspection and servicing.

Project planning of various activities to be carried out in maintenance using CMMS; Field team management to ensure that all planned servicing is executed. Preparation of weekly maintenance plans as well as planning for shutdowns. Software’s used Pronto Xi, Vision link and Cat technician. 2018 February- April: Central Workshop Automotive Industrial Attachment. 3

I worked with the central police engineering workshop in Nairobi for a period of three months where i gained knowledge concerning the mechanical field the activities performed and skills gained included;

Type A, B and C vehicle servicing.

Vehicles direct current, starting system and charging system. Panel beating and spray painting.

Engine servicing.

2018 January- Date: Technical Volunteer at Litter of Light at Night Organization. Litter of light is a French based NGO that builds solar lights for marginalized communities and raise awareness for sustainable development. I work as a trainer where I do train communities on how to build this solar street lights and solar lanterns from circuitry to installation.

Key achievements:

The communities are in a position to make their own street lights and lanterns.

Working with the litter of lights team and the community and we manage to make 150 street lights and 100 lanterns during our visits.

Always install the lights timely with minimal supervision and a lot of cooperation. January 2017- March 2017: Bagga Engineering Works Ltd Internship. Key Roles

Operating lathe machine and ensuring that work pieces are lathed properly.

Ensuring that drilling is done to work pieces that required to be drilled.

Assembling of shutter doors and safe cabinets for banks.

Doing welding.

Doing maintenance of machines.

Leadership and Community engagement

Served as a democratically elected leader in the student’s organizations. I served as the Health, Catering and Accommodation Secretary. I represented the student’s interests 4

in council meetings and I achieved a lot and gained leadership skills during the one-year tenure.

Also served as a religious group leader where I was serving the Catholic Action group as the deputy organizing secretary.

I do work as a volunteer in Light force project which is a French based NGO elevating people’s standards of living by providing them with solar powered street lights and light lamps. I work as a technical leader whereby I conduct trainings on making solar powered lights. It has given the opportunity for international relations. Functional Skills/Competencies
