SNAPSHOT
OBJECTIVES:
Since ages there was always this Catholic marriage between pharmacology (how drugs work) and physiology
(how the body works). What makes pharmacy interesting is the chance to learn then combine both of them to help a person get well or stay healthy.
For me, I was always interested in pharmacy since I was in high school. Now, I am also very keen to be in a health care profession that’s up-to-date with the market and I can say, I will be a major key output of this Catholic marriage.
WHY ME?
BASED ON MY PAST POSITION AS
Teaching Assistant for the German University in Cairo for 2 Academic Years for Organic Chemistry and Microbiology BASED ON MY PAST EXPERIENCE AS
Clinical Research Executive for Pharmadynamics in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia BASED ON MY PAST TRAINING AS
Medical Representative at Johnson&Johnson's with my presentation ranked in sales review among the top 3 presentations.
BACKGROUND
I had distinctive courses at the university that provided me with the required knowledge of the pharmaceutical research and marketing such as Pharmacology, Pathology and Pathophysiology for 2 consecutive years and passed with an A grade.
I developed a new Pharmacophore model for Neuraminidase N1 inhibitors which are antiviral drugs against the influenza virus in the Drug Design course assigned in my university. It can be used for virtual screening of a database of structurally diverse compounds.
