Completed a 4 month rotation in this busy adult office setting with a walk in clinic. The average patient load seen is 20-40 including the walk in clinic. Duties were to assess and check in all patients. As a student, a plan was devised and discussed with the attending and then patient was seen by both student and MD. Debriefing was completed after the patient visit. Patient visit reasons included but not limited to: refills, routine visit, weight loss follow up (Adipex), ADHA patient follow ups (Ritalin, Adderal), pain med refills, screening visits, vaccinations, work physical, school physicals, sports physicals ect.
