PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Team Leader II Manufacturing – Raytheon, McKinney, TX 11/2019 to Present

Responsible for Factory Team management and oversight of 7 different production cells with over 82 different products and sub-assemblies. Supervises 12 assemblers and test technicians that engage in the assembly of precision machined parts, sub-assemblies, completed units and their testing.

Manufacturing Operations: Team up with Program and Factory management to develop monthly build goals and identify material issues. Conducts daily team meetings with each production cell. Review previous days Key Performance Indicators (KPI), communicate daily goals, and review safety topics.

Conducts daily review of all Work in Progress (WIP). Identify production issues including material out of flow, part shortages, and rework causes

Facility Operations and Supply Chain Management Fellowship – PepsiCo, Dallas, TX 5/2019 to 7/2019

Participated in internship program that rotated through all departments of the PepsiCo warehouse including picking and pulling, shipping, receiving, supply chain management and inventory control.

Process Improvement: Conducted in-depth analysis of warehouse operations, identified opportunities for improvements in accuracy or efficiency and proposed and completed special projects. Highlights:

Created visual queuing system that helped employees prioritize projects, boost their speed and enhance overall efficiency.

Operations Manager – United States Air Force 10/2015 to 8/2019

Led team of up to 42 personnel that trained 2,500+ annual students. Directed the facilitation of 312-hour technical training course and managed the efficient flow of students through the training center. Directed all aspects of operations from mentoring and training personnel to efficient allocation of budget resources.

Facility Operations: Managed the accountability and maintenance of $34M in facilities and equipment in a 33K square foot building with 24 classrooms as well as tool labs and offices.

Training Oversight: Led cross-functional project team that developed training materials for 6 courses, validated 482 tasks and 3,400 training hours and verified all training content was updated and accurate.

Project Management: Led multiple facility projects including $2M equipment refresh that improved or replaced 3K technology assets while identifying $46K in cost savings. Assessed stakeholder needs, established project scope and schedule and ensured projects were completed on-time and within budget.

Process Improvement: Conducted process flow analysis, created and introduced hands-on training aid that tackled scheduling bottlenecks while also saving $44K+ in costs and improving quality of training. Increased classroom lab capacity and boosted flow from 1800 to 2500 students per year.

Supply Chain Manager – United States Air Force 9/2011 to 9/2015

Directed 23-person team of military and union employees that controlled, inventoried, inspected and dispatched $45M tool and equipment inventory. Forecasted, allocated and managed $1.7M operational budget and $5.1M equipment account while also managing utilization and maintenance of 7-vehicle fleet.

Supply Chain Oversight: Forecasted customer inventory need and analyzed in-stock levels for 22K line items of tools, equipment, hazardous materials and bench stock items. Prevented work stoppages and inventory shortages with proactive procurement and efficient supply chain management.

Inventory Control: Audited and accounted for 186K+ annual equipment transactions with .1% error rate; conducted regular inventories and reconciled discrepancies to mitigate losses or fraud.

Safety Management: Ensured compliance with all safety programs including OSHA, personal protective equipment (PPE), warehouse cleanliness, fall protection and foreign object damage (FOD) regulations.

Procurement: Monitored, audited and approved 2 government purchase card (GPC) accounts averaging 170+ purchases and $100K in annual purchases by 4 personnel.

Resource Optimization: Directed warranty turn-in and replacement program on an average of 5-10 broken or damaged tools per month saving thousands of dollars annually in replacement costs.

Technical Project Lead – United States Air Force 1/2009 to 9/2011

Led project teams of up to 15 technicians that specialized in troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining and inspecting electrical, avionics and navigation equipment on the F-15E aircraft. Established daily priorities, delegated tasks, oversaw compliance with quality standards, safety regulations and technical specifications.

Technical Expertise: Isolated faults, interpreted system failures and diagnosed issues using schematics, troubleshooting trees, fault isolation diagrams, blueprints and technical data.

Project Management: Communicated with customers (pilots) to define problem root cause and assess their needs, established project scope and schedule, forecasted necessary resources and managed cross-functional project teams of technical projects of varying scope.
