EXPERIENCE

Vice President, Willdan Energy Solutions, Inc., May 2011 – Present

Promoted to VP after successful initiation and growth of New Jersey office from a $300K start-up project to $20M in sustaining operations in five years. Responsible for profit and loss. Increased office EBITDA from 25K to $4M. Developed strategy and drove sales to get region involved with Performance Contracting, Energy Efficiency program implementation, and direct engineering sales to municipalities and private corporations.

Started NJ office for Willdan 2015 and developed into a sustainable $20M operation, which is above to grow to a $40M operation with full responsibility of client management, business development, operation, profitability and overall client experience management

Manage initial capture efforts and full program implementation for the PSE&G Direct Install Program, PSE&G Hospital Efficiency Program, NJ Direct Install Program, NJ Natural Gas Hospital and MUSH programs. These are multi-year long term performance contracts which including 57 Hospitals Projects, 17 CHP studies, thousands of Trunkey installation projects representing over $10M in revenue.

Initialed drive to Energy Performance contracting on the east coast. Implementing over dozens of projects total construction value over $25M.

Oversaw sales and operational implementation of $7M in EE projects at Morristown Memorial Hospital, HUMC Pascack Valley Hospital, HUMC -Hackensack, and St. Peters University Medical Center.

As reginal Engineering Director, created Auditing processes, QA/QC of calculations and reports, customer reports, NYSERDA Technical Review (TR) work for NYSERDA IPE, CHP, ETAC and Buildings program. Completed co-ordination of M&V activities for both baseline case and proposed case, fee estimation, project tracking, schedule tracking, customer billing etc.

Trained junior engineers and non-engineers for fundamentals and energy efficiency concepts. Authorized 2 paper and presented on Data Centers and Hospital energy efficiency.

Lead Mechanical Engineer, Parsons Brinckerhoff Inc, New York, NY Aug 2005 – May 2011

Heating and cooling load calculation, pump pressure drop calculation, ductwork pressure drop calculation and sizing, piping pressure drop and sizing calculation and various mechanical equipment sizing calculations.

Construction cost estimation, savings estimation and payback analysis for the feasibility of the project. Preparing the feasibility analysis reports for NYPA (New York Power Authority) Energy conservation Services. Complete involvement in study to design to construction stage of the project for client i.e. state & govt. building, institutional building, hospitals and K-12 schools.

Working experience on developing Energy Model for Building energy consumption using LEED Design criteria and comparing base case (ASHRAE 90.1) with proposed design to estimate overall energy savings for proposed building and also prepare the report that includes overall methodology of calculations.

Estimated cost of overall project based on design drawings, project documents and specifications.

Preparation of shop drawings for engineer’s review, project co-ordination CAD drawings, purchase orders and Submittals for all the Equipment and other Material used in the Project.

Actively worked with venders for ordering new equipment and material based on site condition and project requirements.

Worked closely with Forman and other union workers in order to accomplish project as per drawings and specifications. Monitoring overall project progress and co-coordinating with other trades.

Hands on experience in project management, handling, implementing and working for sheet metal ductwork and piping for hot water and chilled water Systems sizing and installation and also review of work related to other construction trades.

Worked with Project Manager to develop scope report, which includes conceptual design and rough construction cost estimate.

Prepared complete job specifications including the HVAC Equipment, Control Logic through BMS and Fire Protection. Reviewed the shop drawings against requirements of the project.

Performed engineering and energy calculation to support mechanical design selection, preparation of schematics and Plant & Building layout using AutoCAD. Equipment, pipe and ductwork sizing as per project needs.
