Prepare statement of work and cost estimates on upcoming projects and coordinate with (DPW) work reception on all demand maintenance orders to ensure customer satisfaction. Prepare status updates and reports for ongoing projects. Daily input of information into Army accounting system to establish cost of material and labor involved in the project and completion date of project. Serve as a liaison between the contractor and the Gov’t to ensure all work is done is according to plans and specs. Work with contractors to identify and correct deficiencies; interpret and explain agency requirements; and resolve problems with any unauthorized deviations from approved plans and specifications. Responsible for all internal quality control and quality assurance, by verifying correct piping was used according to plan specifications, verifying quantities used on a daily basis were correct through third party inspections. Performed nondestructive testing of pipes before installing in ground, running all cleaning swabs through line prior to, running of sizing plate inside of pipe to 98% Inner Diameter clearance to ensure no damage to pipes and hydro testing of finished product with no loss of established pressure within a 24 hour period.
