Job Summary: This position is responsible for the efficient implementation of HSE plans and programs through timely and accurate cascade of information to all Rig HSE Specialists, effective conduct of related training to all relevant personnel and timely audit of HSE programs.
Provides inputs to the design of HSE programs based on observations and learning insights from past and current HSE programs;
Leads and facilitates Risk Management team in line with the company’s Risk Management Guide;
Reviews the result of Risk Assessments to ensure that hazards and risks have been identified and appropriate action to address them has been developed;
Identifies and evaluates compliance to all applicable Regulatory requirements and monitors implementation in each rig location;
Identifies HSE training requirement per job position and facilitates the conduct of the required training for all identified rig personnel;
Develops HSE training plan and facilitates the conduct of in-house company HSE-related trainings;
Schedules activities required from preparation to completion of HSE program;
Develop and implement an integrated risk-based audit plan;
Conducts regular audits at the rig site for physical condition and safety practices, monitors closure of audit findings and develops plan to improve the HSE Management System following review or audit;
Recognizes, investigates and reports HSE-related incidents;
Reviews and evaluates investigation reports for quality, conclusions, underlying causes and appropriate actions;
Provides training and coaching in the basic process of incident investigation;
Recommends strategic actions intended to address concerns on HSE program implementation;
