Kevin does A&R and it has three main responsibilities:

A & R can sign new or established talent to the company’s roster. They then continue to work closely with the artist.
Kevin has negotiated projects with featured artists well known as the King streets Sound in New York City.We successfully signed a contract for 2 of the biggest house diva's known as Stephanie Cook & Kimara Lovelace. We completed projects and negotiated agreements with RET SA, Henry (Saxophone player), Lofthill, ACstyles, Ginaellen and Silver Angelina.
Kevin successfully plugged the Words of Love music video on Channel O and Mzansi Magic Music DSTV. Kevin does genre specific music video plugging campaigns. Kevin submits music video to every major network in South Africa.
Kevin handles the day to day business dealings on behalf of an artists or bands. The artist is in charge of creating the art and usually has an overall vision for the project, but it’s the managers’ job to take that vision, map out a viable plan, and execute it. A manager is also kind of the ring-leader of the business. Meaning agents, lawyers, publicists, business managers, promoters, labels, etc. don’t make substantial moves without conferring with the manager since their word is as good as the artist themselves. Artist management is one of the most personal jobs in the music business.
Kevin produces ISRC codes .
ISRC is short for International Standard Recording Code and is used to identify sound recordings and music video recordings.
Each song that is released commercially should have a unique ISRC code assigned to it in order to track sales (physical format, digital and streaming).
In South Africa, Risa is the only agency which is allowed to assign ISRC codes and Kevin creates codes for each copyright and sends them to RISA.
Kevin creates ISRC codes and has Airco collect royalties. He communicates and create documents. Regular send CDS for them to send to all SABC radio stations. AIRCO has a more leadership role to our company like for e.g AIRCO's vision is to have independent record labels (companies) occupying the biggest market share and their music getting greater visibility at national and international platforms with sharp focus on influencing South African cultural policies to provide adequate market access and culture diversity. Mr Eastern Cape 2018 Title Winner
Won a provincial beauty contest on Saturday 3 November 2017.
The event, Mr and Miss Eastern Cape was held at The Athenaeum, a multipurpose creative space in Port Elizabeth.
It is an event found through a good cause, as winners are tasked to engage with the community providing a helping hand where it is needed the most.
Soul-Cafe is a full time musician, owning his own independent record label.
He has been on a beauty pageants winning streak since high school.
According to Soul-Cafe, taking part in Mr and Miss Eastern Cape was to help uplift his profile and his career, as he is good at heart.
In June this year, he was First Prince in Mr and Miss Grahamstown 2017, an event at The Recreation Hall From there he proceeded to enter Mr and Miss Eastern Cape.
He is helping at a community Soup Kitchen in Ghost Town, alongside his fellow Mr and Miss Grahamstown winners.
He told Grocott’s Mail that he is hoping to take part in Mr South Africa on one of these good days.
“I have notice that taking part and winning in these kind of events is not about being famous, or about you, but it is about being well spoken and confident and serving the community,” said Soul-Cafe.
“I believe I have good chances of participating in Mr South Africa. I have a positive lifestyle and I believe I can be of good service to South Africa as a whole,” he said.

The music video was a great success with the music video airplayed on Mzansi Magic Music DSTV. Kevin plugged the video and did the PR to plug the video on MNET tv channels Channel O & Mzansi Magic
