Douglas G. Dikun
Carol Stream, IL. 60188
Below this short introduction of my newly formed EHS Support Company: Compliance Corner USA along with my professional Environment, Health and Safety Summary. I recently retired after leading a company to over 500 calendar days with a work-related injury. When OSHA visited we were told that these programs are the best seen in many years anywhere. I had also developed training and testing which was badly needed and had documentation to verify it. I also updated the company’s Air, Land, Water and Hazardous Waste Management program which the Illinois EPA reviewed during a random visit. Since then I retired in late October of this year and will be happy to provide references including the VP of Operations to whom I reported.
I am interested in project consulting. If you have an urgent need for a program, an OSHA Citation, a report long overdue, a need for a training assessment/improvement plan; or any area of EPA compliance, please give me a call.
Compliance Corner USA, is an OSHA/EPA Support Company. We provide training including Respiratory, Audiometrics, Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, Fall Protection and more. These can be for both new and existing employees who have annual training requirements. We also help launch safety committees, assist in accident investigation program development or improvement, renew forklift, boom, scissor lift re-cert training and more. For a Title V Air Permit and/or Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan, we will be happy to visit to see what is needed. If you need a written safety program along with required training and testing, please let us know. If nothing now, please keep me nearby in case something does come up. Our office is in nearby Carol Stream, IL. 60188

Most Recently: Facility EHS Manager at Crane Composites. (03/18/19 – 10/30/20 – Retired) References Available
Hired to “right the ship” which had some serious compliance mistakes for over at least 7 months.
Crane Composites is an international manufacturer of various components and materials. At this company during my nearly 20 months their OSHA Recordable Injury Incident Rate dropped 50% in 2019 and 100% during 2020 until I retired 10/30/20 for a total of 535 calendar days. Also achieved zero compliance incidents during an IEPA (Illinois EPA) first-person audit after I was there just three months with company. Earlier years the company had serious compliance infractions including Method 22, SWPPP, Haz Waste, Air Emissions and other IEPA infringements. Also actively observing, testing via temperature, planning and training during COVID-19 pandemic. This 535 Calendar Days without an OSHA Recordable Incident which is a first for this facility. I also developed an entire year of EHS Compliance Training and testing for all necessary employee training in compliance with OSHA and IEPA/EPA policy.
