Greetings,

My name is Chelsea and I am an American video artist and communications professional. My career interests include content creation via efficient storytelling and natural conversation, presented through writing, video, photography or through any combination of the three. Generally, if you value someone with writing and directing experience, demanding liberal arts education and top vocational training in film production, that would be me.

Specifically, I have worked as a blogger, video editor and drama teacher. Some students of mine acted in Harry Potter and even a recent series entitled Carnival Row. With varied experiences to draw from already, what I hope to therefore gain from my future employer is a chance to work in a professional environment that depends on content diversity.

Software that I work with includes:

Final Draft, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Media Encoder and I understand workflows that include Photoshop, Illustrator and a little Adobe Animate. I’ve used screen recording software, OBS, to record in-game footage and After Effects to create customizable motion graphics templates. There have been times that I recorded using a greenscreen, so I am familiar with the keying out process in AE. I color-correct photography using Adobe Lightroom and colorgrade video using Premiere Pro. In the past, I have also used Avid, Final Cut and DaVinci Resolve. My free time is spent preparing children’s plays, sci-fi film scripts as well as building up an ecological and economically oriented Instagram account (@curioeco). You could consider me a fairly active person since I enjoy improv acting, climbing, swimming and hiking. I am team-oriented, I like to help others and I work methodically.
