The prestigious project consisted of Construction of Indoor swimming pool with pool bar, changing rooms, sitting areas and extensive hard and landscaping works etc. for H.H. Shaikh Maktoum supervised by Ruler’s Court / EO. Managed the entire project including

o Construction of B+G+Terrace luxury villa at khawaneej The project consists of B+G+Terrace+roof luxury villa having high class finishes and external works including swimming pool and landscaping. The project includes main villa, majlis bldg., garage block & service block.

Managed initial stages of the projects including Site execution and co-ordination – Up to foundations and Co-ordination with head office, client, consultants, subcontractors/suppliers & government authorities.

[2005] – as Site Agent (Acting Project Manager, independent responsibility directly under Divisional Manager)

o Construction of Football fields and Center for sports excellence At Jebel Ali Shooting Club The project consisted of construction of building for sports excellence, Two ‘FIFA’ standard football fields with flood lighting arrangement, L.V. & H.V. rooms, Irrigation tank and system for London based club ‘My Sports’

Complete Project Management including Site execution and co-ordination with head office, client, consultant, subcontractors/suppliers & government authorities.

[Mar. – May 2005] – as Site Agent (independent responsibility directly under Divisional Manager and GM)

o Beach Development at Al Quaffey Island, UAE (Abu Dhabi offshore project) This fast track prestigious offshore project consisted of complete beach development works on the Al Quaffey Island for H.H. Shaikh Mohammed. The works included construction of swimming pool, pool bar, BBQ hut, gazebo, gymnasium block, soft and hard landscaping and external services. Managed site co-ordination which involved several agencies leading to the successful timely completion of the job to the Ruler’s satisfaction.

[2004 – 2005] – as Site Agent (Acting Project Manager, independent responsibility directly under Divisional Manager)

o Construction of ‘Spa’ for Jebel Ali International Hotels As acting PM; carried out Complete management (submissions, safety, resource management, coordination with client, consultants, subcontractor, cost control) of this fast track project consisted of B+G+1+Roof bldg. for ‘spa’ having five-star finishes built in less than 06 months confined area without disturbing the hotel operations.

[2003-2004] – as Site Agent

Liaising with the project planning engineer regarding construction programs. Checking materials, logistics, manpower and work in progress for compliance with the specified requirements. Observance of safety requirements. Resolving technical issues with employer’s representatives, suppliers, subcontractors and statutory authorities in coordination with the PM. Authority inspections. Quality control in accordance with CSIs/procedures method statements, quality plans and inspection and test plans, all prepared by the project management team and by subcontractors

o Refurbishment of Jebel Ali Hotel Terraces BoH Service areas o Construction of 6 private luxury villas at Emirates Hill o Construction of B+G+1 private luxury villa at Emirates Hill

[2000-2003] – Sr. Site Engineer

o Construction of 24 luxury villas at Emirates Hill for EMAAR Properties executed all activities for the villas from start to handover

o Development of Al Quoz - Godolphin stables (for engineer’s office) o Jebel Ali Hotel Refurbishment

o Construction of Golf Academy and Caddie yard with Golf Course development works o Construction of Desalination plant for Jebel Ali Hotel – successfully executed the works for the first desalination plant for any private hotel/resort o Construction of Guest Block no. 06 for Jebel Ali Hotel – managed project from start to handover as site incharge

[1995-2000] - as Site Engineer

As site engineer shouldered following responsibilities to execute various projects as listed below Setting out the works in accordance with the drawings and specification. Liaising with the project planning engineer and Project manager regarding construction programs. Checking materials, manpower, equipment requirements & arrangements and checking work in progress for compliance with the specified requirements. Observance of safety requirements. Site inspections and approvals. Work instructions to foremen/ subcontractors and supervision for various site activities including sub structure/ super structure, internal and external finishes, external services, MEP structures and extensive hard and soft landscaping works.

o Construction of DUTCO COMPLEX and DUTCO PLANT YARD at Jebel Ali industrial area o Jebel Ali International Hotels Extension project (structural civil & finishes, external MEP services, utility structures, hard & soft landscaping)- managed around 350 men and a large supervisory subordinate staff in two shifts to complete then one of the largest resort projects in time.

o Wafi Interchange project (Dubai Municipality Project) – supervised extensive external services works for water supply, irrigation, drainage, stormwater, LV & HV power lines and Jet Fuel line

B.G. SHIRKE CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGIES PVT LTD, (India) grade 1 contractors Site engineer

Mass Housing Complex for MHADA at Mumbai, India [1995] This huge project consisted of the construction of 42 high rise residential bldgs (few of them built with unique precast erection methods), auditorium, school, health clinic etc. along with extensive MEP services network and roadworks. This job provided me an opportunity to work with very good site management systems as the company was then awarded ISO-9000 status

Supervised site execution for 03 no. of S+11 residential bldgs. managing various site construction activities.
