Role Description:

Working as a German language translator for various projects & teams.

Supported multiple projects within Siemens for ticket and document translation following the TAT or many times submitting before the deadline. Besides that, I am also doing translation of Confluence pages, release notes which I received via E-mail. My baseline is more than 3000 words per day.

For the Volkswagen project – I have translated the tickets and documents from German to English and vice-versa.

For the Siemens SAP Mobility Germany team- I have translated around 50k words. Also, translated tickets, documents related to ticket from English to German. I have supported web (confluence tool), online translations. Also, I was also part of billing process and did some tasks related to the process e.g. Creation of tasks for the team members in MSPS, check the MSPS report and send reminder mail to the team members in case of hours missing, create time sheets after billing is done.

In addition to that, I have done reviews of the translated colleagues documents.

For Swiss team- I worked on critical documents required for knowledge transfer session urgently. I have also done assignment of documents, co-ordination among the team related to translation or translated document queries and resolved the same. I have also supported online KT-session held via LiveMeeting for the interpretation. I worked on the tickets for Swiss as well as Mobility team. Most of the tickets were in English and I translated them into German. I have communicated with my German colleagues/ supervisors always in German. I have also communicated in German with German-counterparts from Client side.

Commerzbank project

I have translated user stories, test cases within the CCB project tenure. I could also manage to maintain this productivity baseline even while working on non-translation activities such as review, work allocation to the team members.
