Take and create work orders for medical equipment, map out the logistics of assigned orders, find the most efficient route, meet with clients to demonstrate how to use the equipment, deliver equipment to clients and medical facilities. As a service technician a key responsibility is to learn about the various equipment and to be able to troubleshoot and fix issues that arise with it over time. Another big responsibility is customer service. I dealt with families that have actively dying relatives, so it was always important to be positive and friendly. With Patriot Medical, I helped make our daily processes more efficient by coming in early to preassign routes for the Columbus branch. I coordinated the interaction between branches to ensure timely deliveries. I organized the warehouse into designated sections which made filing orders more efficient. One of the biggest take- aways from this job was the understanding and importance of teamwork. To help the team, I would offer to take late runs or complicated orders to help everyone succeed.
