Position: Inventory Lead / Senior Warehouse and Despatch Assistant Accountabilities:

Assists warehouse manager with development, implementation and maintenance of policies and procedures; ensures all established policies and procedures are followed by warehouse team.

Manager Staff (Receiving team, Cleaners, Merchandisers & order pickers).

Responsible & accountable for Inventory control of all products in the warehouse.

Organize and maintain inventory and stock control.

They ensure that the storage areas and warehouse is kept clean and tidy, which includes identifying areas where processes could be improved and work practices amended.

Responsible for the operational requirements of the inventory department and documentation process.

Monitor and maintain current inventory levels, track orders ad investigate problems.

Maintain inventory database, perform physical count of inventory, and reconcile actual stock count to computer-generated reports.

Receive, unpack and deliver goods: replenish stock as necessary and ensure shelves and stock bins are labelled correctly for accurate order picking.

Process and document returns as required following established procedures.

Perform routine clerical duties, including data entry, answering telephones and assisting other departments within warehouse.

Manage import and local shipments(stock vs invoice)

Lead, guide and train staff/employees.

Implement and maintain 5S strategy.

Assist with ALL HS & E requirements in my department. Key Characteristics:

Supervises inventory control process. Monitoring & maintain current inventory levels including reconciling stock counts to computer reports.

Maintaining data integrity and accuracy within our ERP system (EXACT).

Ensure ALL GRN’s are managed and completed.

Manage despatch queries.

Assist RFC department when damaged/faulty items need to be assessed and returned to stock.

Inspect shipments for accuracy and completeness and resolves inconsistences.
