Pharmacy Technician: Very fast-paced pharmacy processing 900 to 1,100 prescriptions per day. Dispense and package medications under the direction of the on-duty pharmacist. Receive and store incoming inventory, verify quantities against invoices, and check for outdated medications. Maintain inventory levels working with a daily budget and purchasing from many different suppliers with professional guidance from the pharmacists. Communicate with healthcare providers and insurance companies by email, fax, and telephone. Perform clerical tasks maintaining prescription records, composing letters, and preparing insurance claim forms. Assist in resolving patient concerns and complaints, answer phones, stock shelves, and operate cash registers. Second job is working in the Star Specialty department proofreading special patient documents, scanning to upload them into two different computer programs, and filing in the patient files.

Branch Operations Administrator: Oversaw all administrative personnel and internal functions. Showed strong leadership to assigned staff to meet and optimize established levels of business. Monitored and maintained the operational performance of a group of branch operations. Controlled the branch assets—inventory, receivables, and payables to maximize bottom line performance, reduce carry costs. Analyzed WESNET reports to identify potential operational deficiencies and take corrective actions. Covenant Health Center July 2012 – November 2013

Custodian of Records: Supervised two clerks and oversaw records on 2,300 active, with an additional 10,000 in the archives. Daily duties: reviewed all faxes for the facility and disbursed them accordingly. Compiled, processed, and maintained medical records of seven divisions of the center in a manner consistent with medical, administrative, ethical, legal, and regulatory requirements. Processed, maintained, compiled, and reported information for requirements and standards in a manner consistent with the industry. Was authorized to make copies of records in my possession and then provided a certification to the requesting party that the records are authentic.

Frontend Clerk responsibilities: Cashier, answered phone calls, ordered stock, stocked shelves, greeted customers, customer service (resolved any complaints and referred all other complaints to the administrator), and verified time and attendance records for Management. Balanced daily totals to equal the day’s deposits. Maintained a running balance in the safe at all times to ensure that we had the proper cash flow for daily business.
