Strategic Marketing of an Alcoholic Beverage Product with a New Ingredient Project

(January, 2017) – (May, 2017)

Project Details: Analyzed the components of a new alcoholic beverage product called

“aguardiente antioqueño” that contained a new sugar free ingredient. Investigated the product and the brand. Assessed the economic environment in Columbia and applied market research statistics to gain consumer understanding.

Outcome: Introduced a marketing position for the product based on the brand’s organizational mission and vision and assessment of social, economic, cultural, legal, and technological issues as they relate to the product in Colombia. Gained a greater understanding of the brand which was from Scotland but had a presence in Colombia. Determined market audience drinking habits and insights and relational marketing ideas. Philum Jewelry Brand Project (August, 2017) – (December, 2017) Project Details: Assessed a jewelry design brand made with philigran thread and aspects of product management, marketing financial management and strategic communication. Outcome: Developed a communication strategy for the Philum brand by defining the problem and opportunity, identifying the target audience, positioning, and planning communication objectives and execution.

Marketing Product Data Management for Philum Jewelry Brand (January, 2018) – (May, 2018) Project Details: Captured and managed digital information related to the product to be reused in business processes including design, production, distribution, and marketing. Made channel strategy decisions that included analysis of the customer and the competition to boost the brand.
