Concentration on full examinations with routine dilation, diagnosis, treatment and management of ocular pathology with the use of both diagnostic and therapeutic pharmaceuticals, automated perimetry, anterior and posterior segment photography and electrodiagnostic testing.

Indiana University Contact Lens Research Clinic (16 weeks)

Contact lens examinations including fitting, dispensing and follow-up care as well as diagnosis, treatment and management of contact lens related problems.

Indiana University Pediatric and Visual Training Clinic ( 16 weeks)

Evaluation of pediatric vision, binocular vision, visual perception, color vision, strabismus, and comitancy. Initiation and follow-up of therapy and training procedures.

Indiana University Ocular Disease Clinic (6 weeks)

Advanced clinic concentrating on evaluation and management of age related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, cataracts, retinal anomalies, red eyes, foreign body removal and glaucoma suspects.

Huntington Veteran’s Hospital; Huntington, West Virginia (8 weeks)

Concentration on ocular disease diagnosis and management. The main emphasis is on glaucoma management with pre-surgical work-ups for cataract removal and procedures relevant to diabetic retinopathy and specific maculopathies

Danville Veteran’s Hospital; Danville, Illinois (8 weeks)

Concentration on geriatric eye care. The emphasis is on diabetic eye disease, glaucoma, cataracts, age related macular degeneration and post-operative care. Rotation provides the opportunity to visit other clinics in a hospital setting.
