Assisting and participating in daily Out Patient Clinics which includes patients with general and specific Orthopaedic Complaints.

Prioritise and delegate the patients for surgical and non-surgical management.

I am well versed in trauma surgeries in patients presenting in ER

I regularly assist in specialized surgeries like knee arthroscopy, knee arthroplasty, hip arthroplasty, shoulder arthroscopy, shoulder arthroplasty. Teaching Skills:

Regular informal teaching of junior doctors as well as case based discussions on interesting cases.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

I have extensive experience in the field of Orthopaedics including managing OPD and indoor patients as well as performing various surgeries.

Trained in handling Orthopaedics emergencies like polytrauma patients, open injuries, crushed injuries, gunshot injuries, compartment syndrome, compound fractures and other major and minor orthopaedics emergencies. I am trained in doing fracture closed reduction and casting / slab application.

Trained in performing Hemiarthoplasty of hip,tibia and femur intermedullary nailing,DHS and PFN for intertrochanteric fractures,CCS for neck femur fracture,both bone forearm nailing and plating,lateral and medial condyle tibial plating,lateral malleolus plating and CCS/TBW for medial malleolus,TBW for olecranon and patella fractures,distal radius plating and k- wiring,metacarpal and metatarsal k-wiring fixation,distaltibia plating,debridement and decompression for osteomyelitis,tumor biopsy,psudo ganglion and baker cyst excision,supracondylar and medial,lateral condylar humerus fixation, nailing in humerus shaft fracture,lisfranc fracture fixation, external fixator application in compound fracture.

I have assisted THR,TKR, megaprosthesis,pedicalscrews fixation of vertebral fractures,decompression and debridement and fixation pott’ spine,arthroscopic ACL and PCL reconstruction surgery,meniscal repair,menisectomy,tumor excision and reconstruction surgery,neglected ctev corrective surgery through JESS,nonunion fracture tibia and femur surgery with illizoarov technique and rail road and hybrid fixator,masquelet technique,humerus shaft and intercondylar plating,distal femur plating,recurrent shoulder dislocation repair surgeries.acromioclavicular endo-button fixation,radial head fracture fixation,proximal humerus fixation with thread pins and plating,acetabular fracture fixation.

I have done eight independent hemiarthoplasty of hip(six modular bipolar and two cemented Thompson),one total hip replacement and one total knee replacement.

Taken clinical classes for M.B.B.S. and post graduate students, presented journals, seminars and clinical cases as a part of curriculum.

Osteosynthesis in Fracture Neck of the Femur Treated with Cannulated Cancellous Screws in the Age Group of Forty to Sixty Five Years-A Prospective Study. RESEARCH SKILLS

I have a keen interest in research with a basic understanding of critical appraisal and research ethic. I would like to build my knowledge on quality improvement projects and evidence based medicine applicable to orthopaedic. I have summitted my paper: Mid -Term Outcome of Tantalum Metal Cones for Severe Bone loss in Complex Primary and Revision Total knee Arthroplasty in The Journal of Arthroplasty.

I am currently working on my paper Long Term Outcome and Survivorship of Unicompartmental Knee Arthroplasty
