Job Description:

1.Assess, evaluate, plan and implement Physical Therapy treatment program intended for each

patient to provide comfort, safety and wellness.

2.Facilitate learning of patient’s skills and functions essential for optimal functional independence

especially for cerebral palsy, stroke and other neurological and orthopedic conditions.

3.Direct patient’s participation in selected activities to restore, reinforce and enhance performance.

4.Competent delivery of electrotherapy modalities, teaching patients in the gym exercise program.

5.Assess the effectiveness of treatment and modify management in collaboration with the Head

of the Department.

6.Implement education, plans and determine additional educational needs of the patient, family

or caregiver.

7.Complete documentation using the SOAP format, on each patient treated.

8.Provides for ongoing assessment and analysis of patient response to treatment and adjust

the plan of care accordingly

9.Supervise exercise programs and administer various therapeutic techniques.

10.Prescribe and issue walking aids, supportive devices and instruct patients in their use.

11.Conduct therapy activities designed to rehabilitate mentally & physically disabled patients.

12.Support medical professional (Rehabilitation Team) with clinical activities and discussion

regarding patient status and progression.
