Project: Rebate Redistribution Model

The purpose of the project was to help track rebates in an insurance price model using Java, J2EE. The application’s main functionality was to help track the price distribution of rebates and make it more transparent in the process. Worked in development of front end using JSP, JavaScript and back end components using Core Java and J2EE technologies for the web application.

Responsibilities:

Full stack Software Development developing, writing and maintaining Java, J2EE source code for a claims processing module for the system using technologies like Spring MVC, Hibernate, NodeJS, AWS, etc. with an aim to reduce the leverage gained by Pharmacy Benefit Managers from the prescription drug distribution chains, to give a more transparent insurance deal to customers, to get better price on drugs etc. Designed and developed the application using Waterfall and Agile Methodology.
