Responsibilities and key results:

I assist engagement partners in the overall risk assessment to conclude decisions as regards acceptance and continuance with the clients on audit and assurance engagements, substantially performing and documenting the pre-engagement activities including the compliance with ethical requirements (independence and conflict of interest check) and the assessment of client and engagement risks.

I supervised and presented the Company’s monthly and quarterly performance including the analytical review, business intelligence reports, peer review and product profitability analysis to the Company’s top management and Board of directors

When I joined the company, I overhauled the group reporting and consolidation templates of the company. Also, when AXA acquired the majority stake in the company, I spearheaded the effective finance integration (SAP) of AXA Mansard with AXA Group and I gave financial and accounting advice during due diligence for the Group's acquisitions

I made significant contributions and headed the Finance workstream in the development of a successful retail HMO product by AXA for the Nigerian market achieving 75% of the financial projections in the first year.

I represented the Finance team in the selection process of new core investment and insurance application for AXA Mansard Insurance and Investments

I checked that monthly group management accounts were ready three days after every month and working with external auditors, I established that audited financial statements were approved by regulatory authorities sixty days after the year end and ahead of regulatory reporting submission deadlines.
