NURSING SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE

IV infusions via IV, PICC lines and central ports, TPN and lipid therapy, proficient with Gemstar and Curlin infusion pumps. Tracheostomy suctioning and care. Proficient with LTV 1150, LTV 950 and Trilogy 100 ventilators. Respiratory treatment and therapy via IPV, nebulizer, inhalers, chest vest therapy, CPAP and BiPAP therapy. G, NG, and G/J-tube feeding care, experienced with Infinity, Kangaroo Joey and ePump feeding pumps. Colostomy care, wound care, glucose monitoring and insulin administration. Other basic nursing skills such as in and out cath, blood draws, assist with ADL and vital signs monitoring. Provide clinical care and service according to acceptable standards of practice agency policies, procedures, and designated plans of care. Document care/services according to agency policies. Communicate appropriately with agency nursing management, supervisors, doctors, field staff, patients, and their families, both verbally and in writing. Supervise agency staff as assigned and delegated from supervisory and management personnel. Participate in personal and professional growth and development. Participate in agency performance improvement program. Fulfills additional performance responsibilities as assigned and as necessary.
COMPUTER/LANGUAGE SKILLS
