Project HSE Site Manager - CBG Expansion Project – Kamsar, Guinea
CBG is jointly owned by the Government of Guinea and the Halco Mining consortium, which includes Alcoa, Rio Tinto and Dadco Investments.
Fluor was awarded an engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCM) contract to expand Companie des Bauxites de Guinée (CBG)'s bauxite mine in Kamsar, Guinea.
The project will expand bauxite production from 13.5 million to 18.5 million tons per year and is CBG's first of the planned three-phase expansion.
Expanding the mine's infrastructure, rail system, port facility and processing plant infrastructure and utilities.

This US$6.5 billion dollar project involves the construction of a Beneficiation Plant, and several phosphate processing plants: Sulfuric Acid Plant (SAP); Phosphoric Acid Plant (PAP); Purified Phosphoric Acid Plant (PPA); and related PPA plants: Tri- calcium phosphate (STPP), Di-calcium phosphate (DCP), and Mono-calcium phosphate (MCP) plants in the Umm Wu'al Region.
Carrying out audits on all 16 packages on a weekly basis to ensure compliance with Fluor and Ma’aden Safe Work Procedures and regulatory requirements to ensure a safe work environment.

Started as HSE Lead for the SGU (Steam Generation) Project and after 21 months in April of 2015 I was moved over to the Pre-Commissioning department as Pre-Commissioning HSE Manager.
Looking after all the remainder of construction activities, remediation works and pre-commissioning for the entire UPI project.
The UPI Team (consisting of 4 envelopes; Power Distribution, Interconnecting Facilities, Steam Generation and Waste Treatment). SADARA is the biggest single face project in the world, estimated at US $ 20 billion.
Managing a variety of different multinational contractors on the UPI Project involved with the various activities from groundbreaking up to and including pre-commissioning, including Civil, steel work, piping, and mechanical as well as electrical activities.
Managing Contractors’ HSE teams to ensure compliance with client’s project HSE Plan, requirements and standards.
Reviewing and approving all Method Statements and JSAs.
Ensuring permit to work is in place and correctly completed.
